Douglas Springer
Doug leads our Development Division. He grew up in Alabama working with his father on highway and bridge construction. He expanded that experience by graduating with honors in Civil Engineering at the University of Alabama in 1978. A Professional Engineer and builder in South Carolina for 23 years, Doug brings practical experience in land use, construction, and investment. The coastal experience has allowed us to navigate the many rules and regulations regarding Coastal land management and protection of natural resources in the beautiful but fragile coastal areas.Springer has been the Head of Facilities Engineering at 5 major Hospitals for the Federal Government for over 18 years. From 1997 until present, he has been the President of Seaside Solutions, Inc. And now a principal in CSP.
Doug has expanded our market to off shore acquisitions. He researchs land acquisition and management in Costa Rica and recently managed aquisitions on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. He speaks Spanish at a conversational level and continues to travel and become fluent. The rapidily expanding real estate and tourism market in the Central Pacific of CR is exceeding performanace of most area of the United States and will continue to be part of our portfolio for some time. We are also researching markets in South America and Cuba, which have growing tourist and coastal interests as well.
Doug Springer - Construction
Doug currently heads up our Construction Division as well and is active in planning. He has successfully managed new construction, and renovation in the residential and Heavy commercial areas. Being bi-lingual, Doug has an advantage in the construction industry. It has been very important since more and more licensed construction companies have a Latin influence. And our future plans for Central and South America will benefit as well.Alison Jackson - Management and Marketing
Alison is responsible for Strategic Planning, Marketing and Investor Relations for CSP. She has successfully invested in real estate in the Southeast for several years since her college career at the college of Charleston in Political Science. She has experience in business planning and development, consumer and trade marketing, finance and sales.Jackson has traveled abroad and is involved in property search and management in Costa Rica and other Latin Countries. She has years from French and Spanish education for almost 10 years.
